JEFF SWANSON Owner - Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)

Jeff spent 22 years honing his knowledge before opening Total Insurance Planning. He has held the CIC designation for over 20 years. He started the agency because he recognized a void in the number of independent insurance agencies in Chesterfield county. There are plenty of agencies working for State Farm, Allstate & Nationwide but few independent agencies, who’s focus is on the customer NOT the company. Jeff is licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Health Insurance.

Terri Mackey

Terri has been an insurance agent for five years. Her goals are not only to save her clients money, but to also make sure they have the protection they need, for where they are in life. Educating the consumer is very important to her. Terri is originally from the Midwest, graduated college from the University of Illinois in 1983 and received a Juris Doctorate degree from John Marshall Law School in 1987. One of Terri’s passions is that she is an avid dog lover and volunteer for Henrico Humane Society. She also volunteers with the Salvation Army when they need a hand. Her hobbies include gardening, arts and crafts and reading a good novel.

Isaac Bartels

Isaac has 20 plus years in insurance claims, underwriting and sales. He worked at Travelers, Kemper and Prudential prior to joining the Total Insurance Planning team. Isaac is licensed in Auto, Business, Home, Health and Life, and he is dedicated to the utmost satisfaction of his clients. Stephanie heads up the Health Care Division for Total Insurance Planning and offers over 20 years experience in comparing and reviewing health care plans for you, your family or business. Jason Wilkins

Jason is licensed in Property and Casualty, and he is equally comfortable with helping his customers on both personal and/or commercial insurance needs. Jason has owned a few companies in human services, so he has a unique perspective shared by other business owners. He can relate to his customer’s need to keep costs down, while not sacrificing coverage. When Jason and his wife aren’t busy raising their two boys, his hobbies include playing sports, especially basketball

Debora Colby, AFIS, (Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist, Designee)

Debora is a 30 year insurance career agent, helping clients and their referrals find the insurance coverage they need at a price they can afford. Debby specializes in small business insurance and agribusiness (farm related) risks. Debby has a unique understanding of her clients needs as she has been a business owner as well as horse enthusiast for years.
