The Travelers E&O policy “Cyberfirst” was designed for I.T. businesses.
Module 1: Tech E&O Liability
$1500 minimum premium. *Add ”Unauthorized Access” for $500
Module 2: Network & Information Security Liability
Minimum Premium $2500. Modules 1 & 2 combined.
Module 3: Communication and Media Liability
Minimum Premium $3500. Modules 1, 2 & 3 combined.
Many E&O policies we see do NOT offer coverage for “unauthorized access” – An example- you are working on a customer’s computer and they get hacked and their computers are breached. You get blamed and sued by the customer. You need coverage to protect you from this potential loss.
Network Security Coverage” – If you host any of your customers information at YOUR site or server and your customer’s information is breached at your site. Again, a critical coverage many E&O policies either exclude from coverage or are silent on. The Travelers E&O allows you to choose the product right for you!
